PAC5527 is different from the traditional bootstrap half-bridge driver. It has built a 48V charge pump, a 12V buck-boost power supply, and a 5V synchronous step-down circuit, which can keep the power supplies independent and enhance the stability of the system. Compared with the traditional circuit that increases the gate drive resistance and reverse diode, PAC5527 has a built-in current source, which saves all the components on the drive circuit.
Users can realize gate drive through flexible configuration of registers. Adjust the slope of the upper and lower edges to achieve dynamic adjustment to obtain better radiation conduction test results. PAC5527 also integrates a 150MHz floating point arithmetic MCU, 128K flash and 32K SRAM, which can undertake more complex algorithms. PAC5527 is suitable for a variety of applications such as power tools, wireless vacuum cleaners, server fans, drones, etc.
